I just purchased a used mower that has a Kawasaki 25hp (FH721V-AS18) motor on it. While cleaning up the mower I did a check and noticed that the voltage across the battery is 12.3v with the motor running. After inspecting the motor i have found the voltage regulator has three spade connection on it. Two are coming from (i assume) the stator and they are hooked up. The other spade terminal doesn't have anything hooked to it. I also found a wire coming off of the starter positive terminal (red) that isn't hooked to anything. Is this the wire that should be hooked to the voltage regulator spade terminal on this motor?
Sorry if this is a simple question just don't want to fry anything before I hook it up? Also what should the voltage be with the motor running coming out of the regulator?
Thanks in advance
