My dealer is just getting into Kawasaki equipment. Trimmers, blowers, edgers, things like this. I have not heard a lot about Kawasaki's equipment and was wondering if anyone else had any luck with it.

I use all Echo now, and he said the difference was that "it is Kawasaki, do I need to say any more". I need a better reason than that.

I think you'll find that it's lighter. I compared Echo against a Kawi at a trade show using the barrel of water test and the kawi definately held higher rpm's meaning it has more torque and HP. It may be difficult to get used to the large hand hold though.

I have been running echo for about 15 years now and I think there a great trimmer. I do have Stihl also.
My newest is a 260-S I love it, I was comparing the Shindy, Stihl, Husky, and Echo’s the Echo just felt better in my hands,
Being they are all probably good machines. I would get the most comfortable to use. along with dealer support.
Do a side by side comparison and keep us informed.

    Good luck
