I have Kentucky bluegrass in my backyard and I have several areas where Kentucky 31 is taking over. Is there a herbicide that will kill the Ky 31 and not the bluegrass.

Isn't that a variety of fesscue? I think you will be hard pressed to find something selective for that, that will not affect your Bluegrass.

You need a professional that knows how to apply chlorsulfuron or sulfosulfuron to the lawn. Either of those herbicides will kill the fescue. However the only thing that will be left is the Kentucky blue grass. Make sure that is the majority grass. Other fescue varieties and rye grass will be killed by those herbicides.
