Last three words of the post tell it all.

And no, I don't have it in for renters.

Gave customer estimate once. Walking around to the back she says now there's a trampoline that takes up most of the space so you don't need to mow that area...... just trim around it. And under it.

Yeah lady that's a lot less trouble.

the funny part about that is of the 2 trampolines I deal with, one is a renter. lol
and yes they have a swing set and 2 dogs and toys and everything that comes with that.

I only use the stander in that backyard. lol

funny how people's minds work isn't it? they fail to see that it's more than twice the work to do it that way. why don't they just make it easier for the lawn guy and then they don't have to pay as much? they never even consider that.

i've told some if they change this or that a bit then the price they pay will be a lot less but they somehow don't seem to understand. they think the price should be the same for 15min worth of trimming compared to 2min of mowing.

Forget garbage lawns like that. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. Every week your going to have to worry about if it's picked up or not.

I would just kick the small stuff out the way as you walk by it. Tell the customer. Next time pick it up. If they dont just do the open area.

Situations like this can be resolved with a cordial conversation. I'm not sure what makes it so difficult. it is for me too. We just assume they know how bad they're messing you but really they probably have no idea.

    Week 4!! :wall
