I have a well use Kohler Command riding lawnmower. I'm having a problem with keeping it running. It will start and run with the brake applied. As soon as I lift off the brake it dies out. I can't find the safety switch that is attached to the brake in order to bypass it to see if that is the problem. Removed the belts to see if it was binding there.

Try unplugging the seat switch...short the plug with a paperclip...
