I have a CV740-3111 with a blown head gasket. I'm taking tearing down before I order parts so I can place 1 order for everything I need.

Someone put the shroud screws in wrong and pressed into the plastic intake manifold. I've been trying to lookup the intake manifold part. Every site I go to, shows the part, but not the part number. I've never experienced this with Vangard engines; it will give the part number then say, "Not available." I keep running into this problem with this Kohler.

I tried the Kohler global parts lookup site too. This engine is 10 years old, I have to believe most parts are still available.

Is there a trick / best site?

Several choices, call Kohler next week, order a parts manual or if the intake only has a hole in it, I would repair it with two part epoxy. Good luck.

OK. I feel like an idiot then. I didn't use that site. I also found on Jacks now too. Previously on Jacks I couldn't get it to display the "fuel" system drawings.
