Still looking for a mower. Saw this one today. 2001 Kubota (dont know model number) 4 wheel drive, diesel, front mount 72 inch deck, 1280 hours on it. Is this a good mower? Something worth considering? Looking at about 5000 for it...what would you pay? It's either this mower or a 1989 john deere f935 with 72 inch deck for 3500 or a cub cadet m50khs tank for 5000. What do I do?

The Kubota diesel engine is the way I'd go.

Thanks, anyone else want to chime in? Is this a good mower? Looking at it for a lot with 7 acres to mow and some of it is a little rough.

Hey I bought a Kubota f2400 60 inch with 2500 hours on it for $4000 last year. I used it on a 8 acre piece of property and it worked great. It really depends on the type of mowing that you will be doing, this is a very heavy mower and I don't feel that it is very versatile. The older models also have a narrow wheel base which is not very good on hills, it climbs well but is quite scary in certain situations.

So should I go for it then? Being using it on larger mostly open propertys with some semirough terrain in areas
