Anyone with any drive time in these machines?? Looking at one but what else is comparable - deere/cat/bobcat etc.

I like the reach and longing capibilites but will it hinder some possible skid work. How much overlap is there in the machines??

Priced out at 48500K with cab and heat, radio, and hydro hook-ups for buckets etc. I was told they will accept all BOBCAt attachments.

Look into the new Bobcat 417 Versa Handler, it's only 72" wide and no taller than an average large frame skidsteer. I'd take one of those anyday over an articulated or rigid frame tractor.

I spent quite a bit of time in a rented Mustang ML68 EcoSpeed this summer. I really dislike the smaller articulated loaders, for the most part. They never seem to have enough horsepower to do anything, yet they're larger and more cumbersome than a skid steer. I think if I was buying a small loader I'd get a Cat 906 or a Deere 344J and be done with it. Seems like anything else, from what I've experienced and have heard with other smaller artics, is a waste of time.

I use to use one of the Wrangler's back when I worked for Terra a long, long, time ago as a Custom applicator. They where okay for loading material but besides that they was not much you could do with them. Pretty much all they are good for is moving material. They are not good for digging or anything like that or at least that is my opinion.

What is s250r? I have 2 Kub articulating loaders. R420 and R420s. Great machines.

I ran one for a short time, great machine. Not comparable with a skid steer, so if it's what you need I would consider it.
