I have been spraying Lawn Burweed with Trimec Southern at 18 oz/acre and am not having any luck. Does anyone have any other recommendations? This is in Centipedegrass. Thanks for the help

Are you doing a fall application, Simazine maybe? This will go a long way in prevention.

Tends to show up in thin areas so maybe address the related issues

so cultural controls could helpThumbs UpThumbs Up

do you think making the lawn ideal for centipede will discourage the weeds?

Cultural is important as always, the part of weed control no one seems to talk about.

Any thick healthy grass will block out weeds whether it is Centipede, St. Augustine or whatever

Typical Pre's do not work on it. Simazine is the only thing I know that'll prevent it and w're talking 60 days max. Add simazine to the mix you are using @40-50 oz/acre. 18 oz/acre seems light for your present product choice. I know it is centipede but you ARE using a southern formulation.

Just get some roundup and hit it. That will get it done for sure!
