Trying to make a few key moves/goals for 2017, hope you do too. Take it easy everyone.

I'm down to 22, goal is to be done Friday. Saturday morning will be cleaning mowers and putting them away for the year.
The more I think about it I kinda have to get done this week. With the exception of 8 days I'm out of state the whole month of January. I also have 4 landscaping projects for next month in those 8 days. $cha-ching$!

Good news is you have something to do.
Its been a typical/average Nov-Dec as far as work goes. I finally went out yesterday and it was tough. I, headed out this morning, at least its almost 40 at 8am, 12 degrees warmer than yesterday.

As far as equiptment goes Im going to take it in the shorts getting ready for spring. Truck needs 6 new tires @ 180each, and i want to put the drive kit on my grandstant, 270$, starter housing on one kombi, and I could sure use a new set of hedge clippers, not to mention I bought a new blower reciently. 2017 is also going to be a tough one.

it was hot today. i was working in a tshirt. in the 50s. christmas day is gonna be 67F. it doesn't even feel like christmas it feels like spring. i'm sure in jan it will go down to 0F. that's just how it is here. we get cold fronts then warm fronts then cold then warm back and forth all winter until spring gets here. it might stay cold in jan or feb that's about it.

i still got a few more yards to do next week after christmas. i may be done by the end of the year not sure.

Yea the last 2 afternoons have been balmy for December. No wind at all yesterday. Great for leaves. Warm but windy this afternoon. Hope it stays this way. Don't have much work left to do. Now the hardest part--getting through boring January and February without going insane:dizzy:

Im in the same boat. I need to replace/upgrade on a lot of things. List is getting longer.

I finished both of the remaining landscaping jobs just in time for Christmas (as both contracts were written). Have a couple more weeks of stuff to do then I need to perform maintenance on the trailers. The dump trail squeals like a stuck pig when I back up. My guess is something in the brakes. Axles need greased and Buddy bearings to install. If I keep moving I wont get lazy and gain weight over the winter.

I did that this year. Unless my work load somehow doubles or triples, I should be all set for next season besides an aerator for fall overseeding. And maybe a dump insert if I find a bargain of a deal.

Not a large number, but it is all high profit postage stamp higher end properties. (1-3k sq ft) It is a pain to have to rent the machine, take it back, etc. Would be worth it for me to buy one....
