LAWN Mowing***Daily Afternoon "Rant" Thread....

    I see I cant add so I will add this...cutting is like owning a boat, the 2 best days are the day day you buy and the day you sell. Same thing with cutting grass. It was good when I started and great when I stopped doing it

    My yard is so wet it is like walking on a sponge! Squish squish!

    I have a few small jobs to do but it just keeps raining! It did quit this afternoon for a bit but everything is soaked now. More rain tomorrow, Thursday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday... You get the pic. Not going to be good for the grass, it'll lead to shallow roots.

    It's the middle of February and the temps are going to be in the 50s!!! :angry:

    I was relying on at least 5-6 snow storms this winter to carry me through. We had two and they didn't amount to anything. Everything is soaking wet so there's not much work to do outside of snow removal. This winter will probably be my last winter doing snow removal and this coming summer will more than likely be it for the business as a whole. It's going to depend on a few things before I make a final decision.
