    Hi all,

I'm in need of a little help. Moved into first new home a couple months ago and are now finally getting to the grass. I'm not really sure what I need to do. I have put down some Scott's weed and feed when we first moved in. Doesn't look like it did much. The front lawn has greened up a little and I think might be OK. The back is another story. It mostly consists of weeds and bare spots.

    Here are some pictures:

And these are the type of weed that are most popular in the back yard:

Any help/ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated. And I forgot to mention - I am located in SE Michigan.

Still early enough to kill the broadleaf, and still be able to overseed in 6-8 weeks. Use spray on the actual plants. Your granules may still be dissolving, when your are trying to get grass to grow.

I'm with smallaxe sounds like a plan.

But i would hire some to spray looks like the hole yard needs it.

Time you spend the money for all the stuff probably not much difference.
