Lawn trac. vs. Ztrak

    Hi. Most guys in my area use lawn tractors for there lawns. I have 15 accounts and a reg full time job. Just upgraded to a 737 JD Z trak. Well i mow so much faster that i can take on a few more. But how should i charge now? Before i was doing the hourly rate. but i get done to fast now. Should i go with a by the job or use a sq. foot formula? What would be the formula for The western NY be. I live near Jamestown.

    Well, in the south, in a small town, I don't charge an hourly rate. I just tell them (##) for mowing, trimming, blowing, and edging. Then if they want anything else depending on the job and how long you think it will take. I usually try to go for 30-40 an hour. But your in NY so you could probably go 50-60.
