Just curious as to what the HP stands for?
The HP originally started with the Turf Tracer HP. The HP represented "High Performance", "High Productivity" and "High Profitability". It also represented a great deal of bang for the buck. At the introduction of the Turf Tracer HP it was the only floating deck hydro walk behind in it's price range. It had a great number of features for what we were asking for it. In other words a lot of bang for the buck.
When we began developing a small Lazer it was labeled the Lazer Z HP as well. Again the Lazer Z HP was a smaller more compact version of the Lazer Z. It was priced significantly lower priced than it's bigger brother and still today is a high performance, highly productive and highly profitable machine.
Besides, it was either that or Fred wanted to call it the Baby Lazer. Now who'd want to be seen 12 hours a day on something called the Baby Lazer?
