As far as the "accuracy" of the height increments to the actual height, no, they are not accurate, but that is totally irrelevent. You just use that as a reference scale. You always want to measure the front tip of you blade, and compare it to the setting on the mower. This way, you will know where you are at, like if you have to set your deck like 1/4 or 1/2 inch above what the actual setting is. There is no way tyhat this can be accurate, because even if it IS set at the dealer, the chains quickly stretch as they break in.
