can you change a leaf vac engine from a 8hp to a bigger hp engine and increase the suction?
you need to change your impeller
for what reason ?
an 8 horse motor will run the same rpm as a 16 hp. So your impeller will have the exact same performance except it wont bog as much. The units with more hp run larger housings and impellors. Dont waste your time. sell it and get a better vac.
well what you think about this? http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/grd/2065181681.html .. im looking to get my first leaf vac think its worth doing this and maybe throwin a new/used engine in it for a couple hun. $
16hp models are considered the start for commercial guys. I wouldnt run anything under 16hp. What your looking at there is a huge waste of money.
ya why's that? im small right now.. dont see the sense of spending a **** load of money on won right now. id rather stay at what im doing now then go and send thousands
its unproductive and a waste of money. You will hate it.
its better to buy big now so when you get bigger you don't have to get rid of the baby vac and step up to a bigger one spend money once not twice, plus bigger motor=less problems clogs etc...
Hey WS6 I sent you a PM.
