What type of leaf vac? Walk behind unit? Mower mounted bagger type unit? Tow behind mower bagger unit? Truck mounted or tow behind "truck loader" unit? Handheld unit?

Please be a little more specific, many types of leaf vacs out there. There are lots of good brands and a few bad ones. We will be more than glad to help if we know what the intended purpose is.

Bought a 16HP Billy Goat leaf loader last year w/ the recoil start. We have a dump trailer with a custom cover for use with our leaf loader. Can fit about 10-12 yards in it. Keep in mind the 11 yards is after it goes through the shredder so the leaves are compacted.

We loved it. Works excellent w/ dry leaves, needles, and thatch. Wet leaves it does good but takes a little extra time. If you try and force it when there wet you can clog the discharge chute.
