Lesco Mower Won't Climb Help

    HAVE A 48 INCH BELT DRIVE LESCO WILL NOT CLIMB.HAVE REPLACED BELTS,
    AND TRANS HAS BEEN REPLACED.FUNNY THING IS IT CLIMBS SOMETIMES.WAS TOLD IT NEEDED JACKSHAFT PULLEYS,IS THIS TRUE AND COULD IT BE THE PROBLEM,PULLEYS LOOK OK.THANKS FIRE:confused:

    Yes, IF the grooves in the pulley are worn the belt wont ride down in the grooves far enough to bite due too the ridge(on the pulley) between the grooves. I hope this makes sense.

    First replace the belts if you havent already, then replace pulleys if belts didnt help.

    Jackshafts or more tension on the idler pulley.

    Sometimes the belts just get full of trash and dont set down in the groves good . Check for small rocks and grass belts last for ever it seems but they do get filled up.:)

    Thanks You For The Advice Everyone,this Has Been Driving Me Crazy For Awhile.i Think I Will Replace The Jackshaft Pulleys.thanks
