What post-emergent product, if any, from Lesco do you recommend that will kill crab grass but not kill the grass and be safe for pets?

Also, I'm from maryland. Would the spring next year be a good time to put some pre-emergent down to treat for crab grass and nut sedge.

I know there is probably other threads about this so sorry in advance for flooding the posts about this again but I have not found one that will help out with where I'm from.

Not many good pre's for sedge...but Stonewall is a good product for CG as a pre. For CG its best to ask your local Lesco...they will point you in the right direction for your type of grass and climate.

Ok thanks. One more question, Do you use freehand? If so, have you had good results when using it?

Ok. I'll try the stonewall when treating CG. Thanks for the input.

I guess not many people use the FreeHand herbicide for flower beds?

In your opening post, you said POST emergent for CG.

    Stonewall won't help you, there.
