See it may not work for you in your area. I can get what ever color you want and cypress and hardwood all for 2.85 a bag. But in Georgia, we have tons of pine trees and hardwoods so maybe that why its cheaper here

True. It definitely varies by area.

How much can you buy bulk for in your area?

i just wanted to add most times when you buy bailed pine straw it comes in squares.

this one place where i live they sale it in a rolled up bail. that kind is the best. you just set it down and roll it out and it's the proper thickness as you roll it out. it really speeds things up and makes the job easy. if you can find that anywhere that is definately the way to go.

We charge $2.50 to $3.00 over our cost per pale of pine straw to install based on the size of the job.

We sub the straw out. We pay the company 4.00 a bail installed and we charge the customer 6.50 a bail installed. We don't have the man power or time to install straw so it's just easier to sub it out
