I had a 98 Ram 4x2 1500 with a 360 years ago and from the V8 logo on your door it looks like you have the 360 as well. That motor was horrible in a light 1500 and must be a real dog in that heavier 2500 4x4. Run that POS 360 till it dies and swap in a 12 valve that won't need electronics.

I don't think I ever answered your question. I had made a custom rack where gravity held all the trimmers in but they Echo's dripped a tiny bit of fuel so I had to make some other boxes that allowed the trimmers to be stored horizontal. Here is an updated picture. There is one more trimmer box under the trimmer rack.

I also moved my Honda back closer to the ramp door to allow more space for getting to my Prolocker. This required me to move two of the blowers on the wall as well since the Honda handle was now in the way. Notice the Honda requires no bungees or moving parts to secure it. It can be secured or removed in just seconds.

i like the design. i am going to do something similar with my 5x10 open utility. build a box up above the deck(on the front of the trailer), high enough for a trash can and mowers to fit under.

that and add a trimmer rack and blower rack...

    here's my feeble entry...

and this is one from a member here i believe, can't remember who now

but this is what i want to do...
