Thats Sweet!!! I like the style of lettering you went with. Is that an 05? We have the 04 2500 quad cab short bed diesel. We haven't had a chance to chip it yet, what kind of mileage are you getting? If I decide to get my own I will go with the six speed manual. Do you still have all three cubs?

    Very Nice!

Yes its a 05 dually, no chip as of yet. At 55 I get from 18-22 mpg, at 70-75 about 15.5-17.4. Talked to a guy the other day, he has a 02 diesel, and put in a edge ( don't know if it was a chip or programmer) and was getting about 5 more mpg then I am, but should improve alittle, I have only 3000 miles on it. Yep still have the 3 cubs and a mtd w/b, thinking of maybe getting another w/b.

Awesome truck, the lettering looks great! I've been told this of gassers and assumed similar concepts with diesels, but I hear after the breakin period it will improve fuel consumption a little but your figures don't look too bad really....

Mine's a '94 long bed regular cab, 2wd, 12V Cummins Turbo (intercooled), automatic w/electric overdrive, 3.55 gears and straight pipe w/5" chrome tip (thats one mod all diesels should have :p sounds like a semi these 12v's do, haven't heard many new ones straighte'd yet). Anyway, pulling my 22' trailer around town with 2 w/b's and 60" Lazer and all the small equipment, it gets 14 mpg pretty consistent. Have not driven it on the road enough to know what it gets. Before the season started after I first got it, I went a few tanks on winter mix fuel just driving city and highway mix and was getting about 17 mpg, letting it warm up a lot. I imagine now on summer fuel with less warmup if i stayed on the highway at 55-60 it should do 20-22 hopefully. I will find out this weekend going on a little road trip so I'll let you know (but remind me).

Love the Cummins!!!!!! Pulls great, the straight pipe and 5" tip get lots of comments, grins and a few dirty looks from the snooty type that think if you can hear the engine at all, it must be about to blow up LOL... And the black smoke is sweet :) I haven't got mine turned up yet really... the timing's been adjusted a little but no pump tweaking or chip yet... The straight pipe doesn't seem to help power or fuel mileage I think it only helps the ego, but does accomplish that well :p

    Take care,
