Hello I have 4 acres of yard. And its about 50% hills . So how would be the best way to redo part of it at a time?
Try to find a harley rake (Wonder what the going rate to rent would be in West Tn?) and do parts of it at a time?
Or just cut it up and re seed?
And what to cover the ground to keep it form washing is my main problem?

I have a M4700 tractor with loader Disk do-All and about any other piece of farming equipment to use. Even have a 150 Hp tractor. but don't believe it would be needed.
Also have a excavator. But don't know if it would be any help/ Also home owner trying to make my yard smoother to mow and take care of.

Also have water to almost all if it. But have to run water hose to water the grass (Seed) I know this is a lot to ask. But would like to do it right the first time.

just got done doing about 1/2 acer of the flat part. Cut it up picked all rocks and other stuff. Cut it again and then put seed and 6/12/12 down and lime after having the soil tested. then sow the seen and rolled the seed down.

Also will picture help of the hills and the way it looks now?
