Have a Lazer HP and want to add lights. I have a set of fog lights my kid left in the garage. Where could I get power for them? Is there a termination already in the wiring for lights?

I took a power lead from the battery and went through a relay. I then spliced in to the hour meter to get an ignition only power source which I connected to the relay. I grounded the relay through a switch so that the lights are controlled by a switch only when the ignition is on. Dont forget to fuse the lights either. There may be an easier way, like a prewired system, but I always hesitate to use the factory installed system with aftermarket lighting.

    Just my two cents

There are probably several ways to get power to the lights. The real issue is the charging system. The factory light kit has two 35 watt lights. Most aftermarket lights are 55 watts which the charging system can not keep up with for extended periods of time.
