lights per run

    Im wanting to light around my pool landscape and was wondering how many lights can i put on 1 run its about 150 ft from transformer to the area i want to light i need 6 lights at 25 watts per light what size wire should i use 12,10,or 8 gauge is there any books that have the answers to these questions, what if i used 35 watt lights does the wire size change and i have a 300 watt transformer some body told me 100 watts per 100 ft of 12 gauge wire is this true .

    Get the Landscape lighting resource manual. You can order it directly from Unique lightings website. This will tell you everything you need to know about wiring that up.

    Make sure you don't place a fixture within 5' of the pool. It's code.

    100ft, 100watts, on 12/2 is the rule for a 12-15v unit. Make sure your 300 has a 15v tap.......
