well today i had my first customer ask me about lime and fertilzer. Currently I do not offer this service. I just don't know enough about it. I did however tell them that i would spread it if they bought it.

I could use a quick "how-to" with the whole lime fertilizer thing. Should I be at least offering lime and fertilizer, should the soil be tested before any of this, what can i do legally??

What about animals. will this stuff harm pets??

I know that there probably is not a quick answer but a little bit would be great.

fireman, lime raises soil ph. Unless you have a soil test, most people just put it down every year. you can buy at home depot. since it affects the soil, it would be best to put it down immediatly after you aerify. As for fertilizer, since you don't have a pes license, stick with organic.
