Almost done! working on the fuel tank and fan cover..... but here is the work so far. I also found out all had to do was re-shim the wheels and repack greese.
I'm guessing that you primed the engine and that you are going to paint it Kohler blue
hahaha that would be something The engine is painted in Rust-Oleum high heat bar-b-que paint. The blower housing is Aqua, also from Rust-Oleum, made sure to prep all the non-heated surfaces with primer, after all this hard work, it better last a few years
.... well, this unit proved useful for spring cleanup. After all the hardwork, the engine started to smoke oil (go figure ) Any suggestions? Their is no serial numbers on the unit. Never rebuilt a kohler before, and not sure if I wanna take on the task. The fine smoke is consistent with intermitent puffs of heavy smoke with throttle. Probally less then 15 hours on oil change.
