I find that it is one of the most cost efficeint things I have bought. I paid 38 bucks for mine and probably saves me 80% of the time I spent unloading the back of my truck.
I would say if you can afford it go with a dump in the bed of your pick up but if you cant and need to save time at the dump it works wonders.

My wife got me one for my birthday which passed last week. I put it on the truck the other day. It looks like it is going to work well, although I wont be able to tell until the first time I pack the truck full of grass.

I've used one in the past and it worked great, just make sure that you dig the grass out of the wheels wells before unloading or your load will be locked in place.

Do you mean you have to dig the stuff out from between the wheel wells and the cab? And does it work if you have sticks and small branches in there also?
