What is the going rate for loam (top soil) delivered and spread per yard??
I get $75.00 per yard supplied/installed.
Paps, do include seed and fertilizer with that??
thats a NO. Seed + fertilizer is extra.
Please define loam (topsoil)?
Loam or top soil, same material depending on where in the country you are, is the top material of the earth. It is the soil that grass will grow best in, unless using something like dune grass. It is normally a very rich in nutrients and will hold the nutrients that you apply. It is used in farming for growing anything from seed.
ffshuter said that topsoil is the top material of the earth.
I can agree with that, BUT it may or may not be the soil that turf, or landscaping plants grow best in!
The top soil could be sand, silt or clay with some or no om on top.
