Hey fellas, I'm trying to figure out what my next truck should be. Right now, ive got a gmc sierra 1500 with the 4.3 v6. it suits my needs for the time being, since i pull a 6.5X12 open trailer with 2 wb mowers on my 3 mowing days per week and i can fit 5 yards of mulch on it (with side boards) on my 3 landscaping days per week. My business is going strong and i really need to upgrade my truck. I'd like to get a diesel for my next truck and i'm also possibly looking to add a dump trailer. My dilemma is to go 3/4 ton or 1 ton..If i were to get a 1 ton, id like to get a dually and put a flatbed on it. I will be keeping my 6.5X12 open trailer for mowing days as well. This will be my only truck, daily driver as well. I really want a dually with a flatbed, but do yall think this will be the best fit for me? Also, i will be buying used, nothing brand new. I'm open to any thoughts/suggestions.

I have an aluma flatbed on my single wheel f350. Looks good and worked well holding a vbox last winter. I have a dump trailer for mulch and such and an enclosed for the mowers so.. Its very versatile and worth the money..

Why not get a stake dump body on a 3500. It will hold eleven yards and the dump option is worth it. It is real easy to slide mulch off a tilted bed also. There was one on here this spring by a guy out of Michigan.
