If you don't mind me asking, why didn't you use angle valves?

Oh, and I sure hope you picked up your trash!

Angle valves are rather uncommon - far more likely to see globe/angle combo valves.

the 4 90s thing just looks busy.

i've been using flow spans for 15 years and never had a failure.

You could have saved the 90's and plumbed tees in if you used G/A's

not too many angle valves in 1" anymore. i worked for a company about 10 years ago that was putting in green lawns. its the only time i had ever seen that valve. when the line was discontinued, the higher ups looked into purchasing the factory just to keep the valve in production.

Those Greenlawns are not discontinued. The company is actually here in good ol Colorado Springs now. We se a lot of these valves around here. I usually keep 3-4 on each truck for repair issues. Greenlawn

I see a fair amount of RB DV angle valves as well.

Could have avoided all of that tangled mess and produced a far more durable end product .... not to mention save time and money.

Not following you. The 4 major manufacturers (Irritrol, Hunter, RB, Toro) offer a 1" angle and/or combo valve.
