Anyone have any experience with screw on cartridge grease guns?

I've been looking online at Mato lube shuttle, fuchs, and couple others. The concept of these guns are intriguing and it appears that they are more commonly used in Europe. No mess and full use of the entire cartridge are appealing to me.

Never seen anything like that in the parts store. I'd look to see if you could get the grease locally first, and in the proper ratings before before pulling the trigger

Agreed. The tubes can be refilled with any grease of your choosing or pre-packed tubes. Found a few distributors here in the US but its not yet readily available in my local stores. There are a few youtube videos of the gun i've been watching.

I had been using a pistol grip gun like the OP posted, but without the trick? cartridges.
A bit tiring on the old hands when filling spindles, etc.
Got me a Lincoln air operated one couple of months ago, schweeet!

I keep moly grease in it. Works great.

Actually I got a 5 gallon bucket of old grease guns, including a POS air unit. Lookout Craigslist!

Some Toro spindles will take 85 pumps. I've had a air powered Lincoln for 2 yrs now.
Ehhhh.... To the OP: The shown tube goes in the shown gun?

Toro tapered roller brg hsg can take that many because the pro's don't know what a grease gun is.
I have forearms like Popeye. Believe me, I didn't spend 90.00 on the gun unless I had to. I'm sure my hand pump gun was not putting out anywhere near what thye claim it should.
