Jim Kendrick @ TURF magazine here. Read a post recently where a few folks were annoyed by strangers calling them to renew trade magazine subscriptions. The reason for this post is that by my policy, we do no telemarketing for magazine renewals. Many others do (because it's a lot cheaper way to get a subscriber -- even to a free magazine) than traditional methods. Do you get a lot of calls from other magazines? That okay? Should TURF start doing this?
