The only problem with the balancer is it's too good. Once you start using the balancer you'll find that just one small sweep down the blade is enough to change the balance. I've very happy with my balancer and you can tell when you have the blades right. I'm running doubles on my 54" with the motor really humming and you don't know they're engaged.
You can lose 50 rpm on the motor if the blades aren't in balance.
