Looking for the best time to send out mailers for new maintenance contracts??
Do you guys keep mowing seperate than fertilization, seeding, and leaf removal??
I really could use any advise you guys can give.

Any time that you're ready is the time to start. We pick up accounts year-round, no reason why you can't, either. Couldn't really speak on mailers too much, haven't done too many of them. Most all of what we do is lay the hook in the gills and then haul the cable in.
Yes, keep fert, etc, separate from regular maintenance. Also, in NC, I think you need an applicator's license if you're going to be doing anny chemical (fert, etc) applications. Good luck and don't forget to use the search feature at the top of the page.

We already have over 60% of mowing / maint. contracts back and signed for next year.Hopefully, the rest will be in before the end of the year. This gives us a big "heads up" for budgeting and planning advertising for spring.BTW-If you do snow removal, do your quotes and contracts in July-August.It's never too early to market yourself properly..:D
