So, I saw an ad in the paper on sunday.. "Looking for timely lawn care on multiple properties" or something to that effect.. it then had an email address to 'pyrimid real estate'

I wrote, and explained that I'm a full service landscape managment service, and I could provide any needed services with 48 hours notice, weather allowing..

Well, as expected, I got a call from them today. The lady on the phone explained that they are aquiring HUD forclosures, and other repossessed homes, and needed someone to go cut, trim, blade edge, tend to any bushes (cutting) and then perform a lawn analysis.. I explained that wasn't a problem.. I can take care of it.

Then she explained the pricing system to me...

    0-35 mile radius = $26
    35-50 mile radius = $31
    50- up mile radius = $36

I kept my cool.. and didn't laugh in her face. but I did say "hmm.. 30 mile trip... 3 gallons of gas.. that leaves $16 to do the job... I doubt I could cover my cost.."

She replied with " Yeah.. sometimes we get people without employees that will do it."

LOL Geeze.. I guess they can find someone.. but not anyone I know!
