I won't deny it was a beating. By August I was gassed. The evening customer calls were torture. "Oh Peter can't you squeeze me in?" Oh Peter where else will I go? Oh Peter.....

See, if I was our working in a trench right now, I wouldn't be on LawnSite wasting time. :) Eating a fried egg sandwich on a bagel, and chilling with my dogs.
I just wish there was a day baseball game on tv right now.

That's how I roll too with a few exeptions. I will run the machine and pull all the pipe and do any interior plumbing. I try not to dig many holes or install many heads. Last week I helped my guy install a few heads and he took out his phone and took a picture. I said "what are you doing?". He said " I want to remember this".

I'm actually doing a little work tomorrow. Some jerk added onto a drip zone, and that zone didn't have enough pressure as it was. The addition went under the drive and uphill about 200'. No water was getting to the end of the line, and there was only one drip emitter at each new tree. We are adding to another zone at the top of the hill, and hand digging through native area and ground cover. I will help dig for an hour or so, and let the guys do the rest. I'd rather have three guys dig it early in the morning.

We did some work at my house last week, and will post photos soon. Another "Team Building" job :)
