I've ran searches on all the trimmer brands and everybody says that
Maruyama makes a good trimmer, but they won't buy them because
of no dealer support in their area. I'd say if you've got dealers in your
area that stock them as well as the parts, have at it!! :)

i have the small one (22.5cc i think) if i could go back i'd get the 25cc. Their products are great and you can't beat that 5yr warranty. My trimmer is dependable and very lite, just wish it had a lil bit more power.

I have to chime in!!! I don't have their string trimmer but I do have their big blower BL8100. Love it. It is light, easy to start and strong. It is the quiestest of all the big blowers which can become more and more important now that the liberals in power!!!

I am planning to buy their hedge trimmer in the future ( when I can make up an excuse why I need the third one for just one yard!!!) The gear box design is very robust with two ball bearing one on each side of each gear and needle bearing on the two connecting rod to the blade.

String trimmer, I have zero chance of getting one because I have three already!!!!:laugh: And if I manage to con my wife into letting me get one, it would be FS250!!!!

I really like Maruyama stuffs. They look to be very well build. I read alot about they have the best hedge blades.

My dealership used to sell Maruyama. Unofrtunatly, due to changes at the distributor level we no longer sell Maruyama. However, you wil find the product to be excellent quality. Almost everyone we sold Ms to was happy and a repeat customer. If you feel like the dealer is worthyof your business buy Ms without hesitation. They also do a good job meeting their warranty obligations. One thing you will notice is the engines are so 'tight" out of the factory they will need 4-6 tanks of fuel run through them before the engines get maximum RPS. Once this occurs you will have gobs of power.

Good Luck with your purchase.

I notice about the tight engine on my blower even it is a Kawi engine. Take quite a few tanks of gas to get the full power. When I first got it, I actually felt a little disappointed with the power when compare with my hand held Shindy. Only this year when I use them side by side, now I notic day and night difference. Really took a while. Now is truely more than double the blowing power.

Buy! i wish there was a dealer closer, the close one went out of business and now the next closest one was almost 2hrs away and i couldnt do that. I have had the smaller trimmer for 7 years now and i replaced the head on it last year and this year i put a new guard and rings in it. Its held up great for what its gone through. I also have the MS multi cutter system i dont use that all the time, just for spring clean up and hedge trimming, power broom, pole saw, edger.
