What can you all tell me about Maruyama trimmers, and blowers, are they any good, I had never seen them before today, I was searching ask.com for redmax trimmer prices, and stumbled across a section on a site, on maruyama trimmers, It caught my attention because they have 2 year commercial warranties! Must be built good?????!!!!!! Any help will be appreciated!

They are excellent pieces of equipment. Toro Pro-Line handhelds were all Maryauma built. Engines are well constructed, parts are easy to get. If they have a weakness in would be in the trimmer heads. I'v used a Toro branded one now for 4 years
Personally, I don't smoke it. Ain't into it.

No, seriously, I don't know that much about them, but I have heard alot of positive and no negative about their product line. You may want to do a search ohn here and see what everyone else who has mentioned them has to say. ;)
I have had 4 or 5 Maruyama pieces of the years. I picked up an edger and a trimmer from a guy who was getting out of the business probably nine years ago. I used them for a couple-three years. I think both of them ended up needing coils  They ran good for the time I used them. Weird primer-injection setup on the carb though. They were far better than the Echos I had prior and after that.

I bought a Maruyama HT260D extended hedge trimmer back in 96 or 97 and I still use it. It's cold natured as hell, but once you get cranked and running it's great. Also have Maruyama-built Toro extended tree saw. It's a little easier to crank (actually has a choke) and is pretty decent.

I had to email them about 4 months back for a parts and owners manual for the hedge trimmer and they were very polite and sent it right away free of charge. Kinda shocked me they actually had the two since they quit making the hedge trimmer in question about the time I bought mine.

I have a Maruyama back pack blower. Lots of power.

It has a Kawi engine on it, starts every time, no problems so far in 2 years.
I've been running Maryuama for years. You'll be pleased with the performance of these machines.
