Has anyone purchased the Means Landscape Estimating Methods?

If so did you find it a valuable reference?

I sometimes use Means in my other job. I think everything is a little on the high side, maybe 20 to 30% higher than what is realistic, just my opionion.

It is a bit high, but nice for figuring jobs you don't know much about, or for training new estimators.... we use it alot.

2003 is a little steep for me. I have used it a few times and been v. reliable. If you wait til Feb/Mar, I am sure Amazon will have one used for under $90. I am going to use '02 and add 2-3%.
