Melt Down

I got a call from a landscaper that I work with the other day. I said the well at his nursery wasn't working. The pressure switch had caught fire. It only served 4 small drip zones so it must have cycled like a *****. Plus after I hooked it all back up I found out the tank had a leak so that didnt help either.

I must admit if I didn't live on top of a huge aquifer I would need to hone my pump/well skills. Wells here just pump and pump and pump. Recovery and draw-down isn't much of an issue here. Although I have done some reading on the long island aquifers and the western part of the island is in danger of running theirs dry.
