I believe my lawn has a disease called melting out fungus. Early this spring the grass looked more yellowish brown than normal. As spring green up came I noticed a lot of dead thatch in the lawn, more than ever before. I am thinking about putting down a fungicide. I read that a high nitrogen fert will make the fungus worse. Can I use something like a 12-12-12 a few weeks after the fungicide? Please let me know what you guys would do in my situation. Thanks

Hire a pro that is familiar with fungus. It is possible that the fungicide you may need to treat the problem is very expensive and you may not actually even have a fungus problem...sometimes they can be difficult to diagnose.
