My friend gave me a mighty mac chipper/shredder/mulcher. It has a electric motor on now. It can barely turn over. Originally, I think it came with a gas motor, but it is long gone. It is not very big, 3 feet tall by 3 feet long, with a open chute on top, for leaves and straw and a smaller chute on the side for chipping small brush. What is this good for? Is it worth anything?

The metal blades on the shredder part look good, not bent or missing. The only blade for the chipper is shiny and sharp.

I used to have one. It had a 7.5HP engine, so it's little wonder that an electric motor, which is probably a fractional HP one, would be adequate. The hopper on top takes brush up to about 1/2" and the cutting blade on the side will chip branches up to about 3-to-3 1/2". Mine cost about a thousand bucks about 20 years ago.

    I have a McKissic 12pt8. Its a 4 wheel trailer type. I was given it as a 12P8

which is a wheelbarrow style. I bought parts to make it a trailer. from Canns-

Bilco. I put a new 8hp briggs on it. I have 3 screens. I like it. They are 1500

new. mine cost 650. Should be a name plate on it. Ed
