How many of you use a Mission statement or Quaility statement for your business. If so, give some examples.

A mission statement does not have to be a long, drawn out ordeal. Some of the best I have ever seen in any service industry is short, sweet, and to the point. You understand the mission, your employees understand your mission, and your clients understand your mission.

Sean is right...it doesn't have to be real long and/or complicated. And it's not to be confused with your business plan. They are 2 different things.

Do you have any examples? Do you use it in your advertizing or busniess cards.

I have not adopted this officially, but I like.....
    PROGRESSIVE LAWN & LANDSCAPE
"Where service is always in season"

And yes I stole that one.

A famous hotel chain uses "Ladies and Gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen"

I guess these are more like mottos, but still good to have.

A rough draft that I have had in my head for sometime is "Our goal is to grow and prosper through great quality and exceptional service".......something along those lines.
