On Thursday while i was filling up at the gas station, by chance I met with the owner of a mobile home trailer park. The park is next door to one of my accounts already, so travel time would be minimal.

My question is, has anybody had any experience with mobile home parks, (are they worth the ??? $15 ???(about)).

Each one would probably take about 10 minutes with a 32" w/b. If I remember correctly there were about 15-20 homes on this stretch.

    Thanks in advance.

    20 homes at 10 mins each=3hrs 20 mins
    15$ x 20 homes = 300$
    thats almost 100$ per hour

    i say go for it

Plan on about an hour of picking up toys, trash, newspapers, beer cans, syringes, etc.

That is a closed minded and stereotypical reply.

The answer to the question is yes, but make sure it is a decent mobile home park and beware that there will be more obstacles in a smaller area than most yards (small trees, birdbaths, flower beds, other houses) . I have some of these in a nice park and I have never had a problem with any of the customers. It is very lucrative for the time.

Keep your trimmer away from the vinyl skirting, it'll make a hole quick. make sure to point out any pre-existing damage, so they can't blame you.

They said no They pay $3.00 a lot

Stay away from that park. Stay away for $7.50 too. I do a nice retirement community type trailer park. I get $12.00 per lawn. Mow and trim. It's been $12 for two years. Next year I'll get $14.

I do a 55+ park have 15 accounts there and every time I have a prospective or pick up another. Each are 17.50 for mow, whack, and edge if needed and at most take me 15 min minus the 2nd time back from fert. Hit every other week, 50 miles from home and have only one day every other to get there. Spend all day in area and take around 450. in 8 hour period, minus lunch, sweat, and bidding. good luck.

Remsen 1 summed it up pretty good. I do few in a nice adult community and get $20 min. $25 on a couple of corner lots that are a little larger. The vinyl skirting can be tough - keep the trimmer string short and the RPM's low. I use a 48" Scag WB and it works fine. Should be a little easier with a 32 " as there do tend to be more obstacles. Easy to pick up more accounts or extra cuts - there are always older folks that intend on doing their own but don't find the time every couple of weeks.
