If you are running General 19.5 tires they explode at any time they please they are horrible tires. The tire shop I deal with say the General LMT series 19.5 tires should be illegal they are JUNK. I have had one start to fail on the inside of the tire.

Heat kills tires and running to low tire pressure which creates more heat and causes the tires to fail.

I was in the center lane on the cell phone look in rear view mirror and see smoke...big rig in right lane slowed down and I eased over and called the tire truck...I did not take a picture of the whole trailer....I hand a 328 on the front..:weightlifter:..:hammerhead:.I had 3 phone calls from co-workers and one from a customer all going South bound on I-65. I was on the north bound side.It was not so bad...the tire truck was there in 20 minutes. This heat is tough on tires. I saw a lot of cars and trucks changing them yesterday.

A zipper blow out is caused by the inside of the tire sidewalls deterioration and it works it's way out, then add over loading, tire heat, summer heat and sitting around in a lot exposed to the elements and it blows out like that.
