Any you guys adding 2cy oil to your diesel
Never heard of it.
Why would I want to do that?
I run bar lube in my pickup truck. Picked up 4MPG!!!
Both of your comments now have been very vague.
What fuel does the pickup run on?
Gas or diesel?
How much "bar lube" do you mix with the fuel?
What is "bar-lube"?
What does the manufacturer (warranty) think of adding this chemical to the fuel?
Diesel, one once per gallon, any 2 cycle oil.
Hum.... You said Bar Lube one time and they your saying 2cyc oil the next..
There not the same oil...
Can you tell tell me the components that go into bar oil?
The first step to an mpg increase is doing and keeping up on the regular maintenance. All that stuff like oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, pcv valve, spark plugs / wires / cap and rotor, 02 sensor, trans fluid and filter, wheel bearings, breather cap, brakes, tires, air pressure, coolant, fuses relays and light bulbs, windshield wipers too, to name some to most of what DIY'ers can do.
Now a windshield wiper blade may not increase your mpg but it's all part of the required mind set, because so long the truck isn't properly maintained everything else is just wishful thinking, goofing around, or something along the lines of re-inventing the wheel.
What can you tune on a truck with 1000 miles 2008?
One is used in Gas and one is used for lube the chain...
