We are in for another week of rain here. BOY I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!NNNOOOTTT!!!!!
Same here, time to put Floaties on the X-Mark.
Yeah Oneman, it will take a week for the ground to dry out. I'm looking at the very real possibility that this week may just be gone. I mowed Monday and that's it so far.
Nothing but rain here too. I have a couple of lawns that I haven't been able to get to in over 2 weeks. Gonna rain off and on for a week again at least. I thought this was June not April/May?
Raining here too. All I can say is thank goodness for my Toro Super Flow Deck!!!
let it rain, last year it had already quit and was the start of a bad drought, so it looks a lot better that last year.
A picture is worth a thousand wo...... gallons of water.
I mowed in the rain today. Lost $50 worth of mowing thats all. The Scag did OK but I had to take turns very easy and slow! The sulky helps keep my feet dry in that standing water........
we had 3 suddon down pours today and last night it poured last night real hard then we started mowing in the late morning for a few hours then is poured again so we stopped then it stopped so I mowed another lawn then it started again alot of time got wasted today but I am not gonna complain to much cause we are makin money and not sitting at home prayin for rain like last year.
It had a full color pic of a lake-no that was a field on the road to town.
In May we had 7 days without rain. In June so far we've had 3 days without rain.
Had a woman ask me today "Don't you think it's too wet to mow?"
And I was dressed in rubber from head to foot.
I've worn rain gear from the first of April.
I wanted to say "Heck yeah! I'm going home."
But I just told her "It's always raining. It either gets mowed wet or it doesn't get mowed."
I asked her "Did you see the headlines in yesterday's paper?
She shrugged and sighed, I mowed.
It's like turfcare said "thank goodness for my Toro Super Flow Deck!!!"
Mine's not super flow they're all Groundsmasters, but they work the same...Get that wet grass out of there!
