Hustler Turf Equipment will be driving a Super Z™ lawnmower that has been custom
painted to resemble Richard Petty’s #43 Dodge NASCAR race car, across America to
raise money for the Victory Junction Gang Camp. The “Mow for Victory Tour”will
start on February 27th, 2005, in Ontario, California and will end on May 28th, 2005, at
    the camp in Randleman, NC.
“I’ve done a lot of driving in my time,” said Richard Petty, winner of 200 NASCAR
races, “But, I wouldn’t even try driving a lawnmower across America!”
The “Mow for Victory Tour” will cover 4000 miles as we travel through California, Arizona,
New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina,
and North Carolina progressing from Hustler dealership to Hustler dealership. We
will arrive at the camp on May 28, 2005.
A number of sponsors within and from outside the green industry have signed on
to the Mow for Victory Tour. Sponsors include: Kohler Engines, Hydro-Gear, Aluma
Trailers, Turf Magazine, ACI Motorfreight, GT Sales and Manufacturing, Printing, Inc.,
US Bank, StarCom, and Print Source.

cancer, spina bifi da, kidney diseases, asthma, sickle cell disease, burn survivors, skin
disease, heart disease, epilepsy, and immune disorders.
Children attend the camp free of charge. The camp is entirely funded by contributions.
Victory Junction Gang Camp was launched in 2000 by NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and

1998. Adam was killed in a racing accident in 2000. The camp is part of the network of
Hole-in-the-Wall-Gang camps founded by Paul Newman in 1988.

So, maybe you could have a raffle for an SWB, or smaller Z....... Something like $100 a ticket with only 100 tickets sold. That would be $10,000 and "at cost", you guy's could donate the rest to the Camp.
Hell, you could have a couple of raffles (2 SWB's and maybe a Fastrack and small Z).......I'd go in on a few at that price.
Damn, this way you get your machines out there, we'd love it, and the Camp would end up with mucho bucks........

There are all kinds of legal issues with raffles, especially if your trying to do them nationwide, so we decided against raffles of any mowers.
It is a great idea, and we looked very seriously at it.

    Go to the website
There is a list of dealers and stops along the way.
Unfortunately it will not be coming anywhere near the northeast on the initial tour, we are considering making additional dealer stops after the official tour has ended.
This would be sometime after June 1st and on a limited basis, we have not worked out all the details on it yet, I will let you know.
You can donate at any Hustler dealer in the USA, they all have received a kit with donation envelopes.
You can also donate online through the website.
Lets raise some money for these kids!
