None of my 50 lawns have irrigation.
Same thing where i'm at in NC too. It's crazy how good the grass is growing considering it's approaching late summer.
Mandatory water restrictions begin tomorrow. Watering is allowed 3 days a week. Problem is that half the week the temperature 90 and the other half it 105. It doesn't rain any of the days. With the restrictions I will officially give up my grass and let it go dormant because 3 days a week won't get it done. You need more like 10 times a week.
I mowed one of my properties yesterday for the first time since May 30 (now July 24). It's about 7 miles from my place and they are one of the lucky ones; they've received about 3 inches of rain in the past 2 weeks from some very spotty storms. Nothing here! Nothing expected in the foreseeable future!
None of my 24 have it either. Although we're getting good rain this year, every other year since I've moved here has sucked for getting rain.
